Essay 2-03a: Learning with Computer

I often use the computers. My computer that is my house is not connected Internet, so when I use it just use the application that Word  to write reports and others, so when I have to use Internet, I use it in the university. It is very inconvenient that I can't do homework in my house, but in the university, there is many computers so it is helpful for me.

Mainly, I use it for do my homework. In overview, I have the homework that writing blog, book reviews, typing, essays, and writing reviews to other student's blogs in English, in Writing class. When I do these homework, I use the computers, and it is a application that Google.  I came to use Google frequently after I became a university student. When I write blog, book reviews and others, I use it, Blogger of Google. It is useful and easy to use. When I just became a sophomore, I didn't like writing in English and I couldn't, but I have written many words, so now, it is not reluctant to writing in English.

In addition, I have the homework of English Central in Speaking class. It is the website. When we want to use it, we have to buy its card. If we haven't it, we can't use English Central. It is about 2,500 yen. When we do English Central, we have to use headphones with the microphone, because, we pronounce English to the microphone and it marks the pronounce. I was surprised first. Because it is happy and nice, I like the homework.

What's more, I have homework of some other classes and I use computer for them.

Because the homework using the computer increased after became a sophomore, my vision has gotten bad. It is troubling, but I think that there is no help for it, so I want to take care of my eyes.

Essay 2-02a: Comparison of Disney Movies

 We would like to compare Disney movies from three subsidiaries. The Walt Disney Studio has many subsidiaries. Even we choose 3 Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Pictures. First, we will introduce each companies. Next we will compare each company.

Disney Channel started 1983. Disney Channel Original Movie is kind of movie brand on the TV. It was Disney Channel Premiere Films at first but it changed Disney Channel Original.

Disney Channel Premiere Films have many movies. It broadcasted at first Tiger Town.Next movie is Snow White. It is very famous around the world. In addition The blue Yonder, Anne of Avonlea and Lantem Hill. There are 13 movies.

Disney Channel Original Movie has movies more than Disney Channel Premiere Films. In 1997 Under Wraps was broadcasted. It has two movies in 1998. They are Brink! andHalloween town. In 1999, there are 8 movies. For example, they are Zone: Girl of the 21st Century, Can of Worms and Smart House. I am interested in The Thirteenth Year. This story is about merfolk. I have not known it. It was directed by Dunham. He has directedLittle Giants and Halloeweentown. I also would like to see Don't look Under the Bed . It's name is very interesting. It was directed by Kennth Johnson.  When I wa told me 'don't look', I would like to look. It was released October 9, 1999. In 2000, It released 10 movies. It is the most movies. They are looked interesting. Up, Up and away is comedy and adventure about boy. He is from a family of superheroes. In addtion 2000s movies  are interesting. For example The color of friendship, Alley Cats Strike, Stepsister from Planet Weirdand Ready to run. In 2006, High Scool musical was released. It is very famous and popular in around the word. It was directed by Kenny Ortegea. It is American teen comedy musical television film. I have seen it. My frends like it. It is very interesting. I like their music and dance.Next year  High School Musical was released. Disney Channel original movie will is going to release four movies in 2015. I am looking to seeing them.

I introduce about Pixar Animation Studios. It was made in 1979, and Steve Jobs who retired Apple Inc bought it 1 million dollars. It was manufacture company of hardware then, and Disney was its customer. In those days, Pixar's sales are few, so they started making CG animation, and Pixar and Disney contradted.

In 1995, they announced Toy Story which longe piece animation of full 3DCG was first time in the world. In 1999, they recieved Golden Globe Awards with Toy Story 2. In 2003, they recieved Academy Award for Best Animated Feature with Finding Nemo. In addition, in 2009, they recieved Leone d'Oro of Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica with Up.

All of Pixar's work with Disney, but production side such as develpment, make , and post production are by Pixar. Then, distribution and promotion of sale are Disney, and they bear its cost.

The famous movies of Pixar are Toy Story series, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc.,Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars,Ratatouille,WALL-E and Up. All are famous so as to we know it all. However, the title are different from Japanese title. Particulary I think Toy Story series are very famous, and I like it very much. There is indivisual characters and they are fun and interesting. It isMonsters Inc too. In addtion, I thik its 3DCG is beautiful. I think it is one of the Pixar's fascination.

Pixar and Disney work are a little winding. Forexample, Planes is like Pixar's wok, but it is Disney's. This work is very resemble Cars, so we are mistaken with Pixar. Pixar's works are 3DCG animation, but Disney makes it sometimes too.

Pixar Animation Stadios are plannng to relese new works. For example, they are going to release Inside Out in 2015. In addition, they are will release many works in several yars ahead. I am looking forward it very much.

Walt Disney Pictures made many famous movies. For example, Maleficent, Alice in Wonderland, and Pirates of the Caribbean. So it is a documentary film. Disney movies are famous for animation movie. However, Walt Disney Pictures is famous for documentary film movies.

My favorite movie is Maleficent. It is based onThe Sleeping Beauty. The Sleeping Beauty is movie of Walt Disney Animation Studios. Maleficent is a villain of The Sleeping Beauty. She put a curse on the main character of the girl. It was that die in the birthday of 16-year-old girl. Maleficent is you can know that reason of she became villain. When I knew that I was very sad. I went to see the movie with my English conversation teachers and friends. They said "It was good movie."I think so too. I want to watch the movie. I want to lent the DVD someday. I'm looking forward to watching the movie again.

This way, most of Walt Disney Pictures movies are based on Walt Disney Animation Studios movies. Documentary film of Beauty and the Beast started from this month. I want to watch the movie. I think that documentary films of Disney movie will increase. I'm looking forward to watching it.

Essay 2-01a: Aso is beautiful

My favorite place is Aso, because I like their climate that it is cool in the summer. Then, there are many good restaurant, and I like Akaushi. Moreover, there many nice view points. I have been there many times, but I can have good time every time and I can discover new good places each time.

 I went to Aso last year first time. Maybe I have been there before, but I not remember to it. I went to there with my high school friends and their friends who are Taiwanese last year. We went to Kusasenri. I was surprised about very beautiful view, because there were very beautiful green, sky, pond, and horses. I like their beautiful colors that vivid green and blue. It was hot day, but there was cool and comfortable. There were many horses, so I wanted to rode horse, but I couldn't it, because we had not the time , so I want to do it someday. It is maybe very happy to ride horse at a beautiful place such as Kusasenri.  We took many pictures and movies. It was very fun. I watch the pictures sometimes yet, it remember me the memory and makes me happy. We had a very happy time. There is one of the favorite place in Aso. I have not been there in winter. It snows in winter, maybe it is beautiful too. I want to there in this winter. In addition, there are many beautiful places. I  want go to many places that I don't know yet in Aso.

About the food, I like beef very much. Aso is famous about Akaushi meat. It is so delicious. I have been to  Imakin Syokudou of Aso with my friends. We can eat "Asaushi don" at there. It is Akaushi meat on rise, and half-boiled egg on meat. Morover, the meat is medium rare. It was greatly delicious. In the evidence, we had to wait about 3 hours to enter the restaurant. I was surprised it. There were many young people. We wait long time, but I am glad I went there. I recommend it.

I have many good memories in Aso. There makes me calm and happy. Its distance is to be able to reach immediately if  I intend to go, it is good point. The place where I want to go there many times.

Essays :1-03a Language Learning Stories

      I was 9 years old, and third grader in 10 years ago. I studied Japanese at elementally school. When the Japanese class, we read story, poem etc, and writing about feeling of story and , listening to Japanese sentences and write it. In addition, we did various things,but I don't like Japanese class, because I don' like read books. I liked  math class than it.
    Beyond that, we studied English at ALT class. The class was that foreigner teacher taught English
 us with games songs etc. Because it was fun I like the class. In the class, I remembered easy English words, songs, numbers.

        When I was 7th grader, I started study English at junior high school. I like the class, because Its teacher's teaching was well, but severe. Then, I became like English. When then, my English score of test was good, I had confidence. I like studied English then. But, I become 10th grader, English class become difficult, and then English teacher's class was not interesting, it was boring. So, then I don't like English. In addition, Japanese class was difficult too. I don't like study then.

        Now, I study English at KGU, and I am a sophomore. I can speak and read and listen to English than a few yeas ago, but I think my English skill is low. I am a English department student, so I should up my English skill more. For example, I want to speak US people, because I want to try to my English skill whether get across or not. I don't have confidence. But I want to come to be able do it.
Now the my life is busy, because part time job is hard, so I can't study enough. At first, I have to change it.

        If become 10 yeards later, I would becoma 29 yeards old.Perhaps, I would use English hardly, but I want to use English 10 years later too. If it is so, I wish I would to become my English skill is very good. I want to study English then, and I want to go abroad at least 1 time.

University Life

They introduces their university life.

They studying English. They likes studying English, because they think English classes are interesting, but homework became very increase since they became sophomore. So, their life became busy. When they have free time at this university, they use PC for writing, speaking, and another class's home work.  Once in a while, they watch DVDs at KGU library with their friends, it is very good time. 

They like spend with my friends at lunch time. They often go bakery. There's breads are delicious, and they eats there's ice cream cone at time. So they like go there. And they likes eating as speaking with their friends. 

After university class, they go home and they go part time job. Student may don't like part time job, because its job is not interesting, and they have to go to work.May they wants to retire it, and may they wants to do another part time job.

When off campus, may students go to dinner, go to karaoke, and may students go out to the various places to play with their  friends. May they likes go many places with their friends, because it is fun and it takes a rest. They talks anything to their friends, and may they feel fine in doing so it.
In addition, they likes their own time, They often watch that they  recorded program, DVDs, and read books, and so on.
 If they has more long free time, may they wants to go to trip. May they likes trip. One student went Tokyo Disney resort recently. The student says it was very very good time and the student came to like more trips. May they wants to go abroad someday, because may they wants to speak English , and try whether they can communicate in English at there.

Their university life and off campus are very substantial. May they wants so spend enjoy time from now on.

Dear, host family,

I will stay with your family, thank you in advance.



Let me introduce myself. My name is Azusa. I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Kumamoto, Japan. Kumamoto is in the middle of Kyusyu. I' m a first-year student at KGU majoring in English.  Because I liked English, I entered the English depertment, so I will stay this time. I live with my family, and I have one brother and two cats. My father is working at a vagetable factory. He is kind, so I like him. My mother is a nursery teacher, but when she gets angry, she is very scary. My brother will have became 23 tears old this year. He is working. He is shy. And my two cats are very cute! I love them. I work part-time as a waitress at a wedding hall. In my free time, I like listen music and watch movies. I usually listen to One Direction and Katy Perry, etc. In addition, I like foreign movies.


I have a few questions for you. How many people are there in your family? do you have pets? Do you work? What kind of music and movies do you like? If you have any questions about me, please feel free to ask.


I want to do many things in your place. To begin with, I want to talk in English as much as possible, because when I go back to Japan, I want to come to be able to speak English fluently. In addition, I want to help with the preparations for dinner. That's because, I want to know food culture in America, and lean recipes. Moreover, I want to go to Disneyland in LosAngeles with you. Because of this, I want togo to the genuine Disneyland. I want to spending  deep six weeks with you.
